Estes Park Health Foundation is driving to raise funding during our Waves of Hope: Cardiac Ultrasound Initiative.
The aim of this campaign is a cutting-edge technology service upgrade: acquiring a new Phillips Epiq CVx cardiac ultrasound system; including a much more comfortable, easy in-and-out ultrasound bed that will provide major improvements to both the patient experience and the sonographer’s ease in performing these services. The Epiq system features infinite articulation for positioning and is nearly silent in operation.
Cardiac ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to visualize the heart's structure, for diagnosis and the monitoring of treatment for various cardiovascular conditions.
Ultrasound is the most utilized service at our Estes Park Health cardiac clinic and serves as an essential component in monitoring function during cancer chemotherapy.
