Schedule of Events
From the Duck Drop to the Finish Line, There is A Lot Going on at the Duck Race Festival:
The stating line is the Fall River outside Nicky’s Resort and happens at 1:00 PM sharp! You won’t want to miss it – watching 10,000+ ducks start the race is a site to behold!
The ducks will be on the journey for a couple of hours, racing to the finish line near the Wheel Bar on Riverside Plaza.
From the starting to the finish lines, and all points in between, the festival is alive with music, dance, fun and entertainment at three locations – the Nicky’s Resort, Performance Park and Riverside Plaza.

How It Works
The annual Estes Park Duck Race has returned over $3 million to local organizations!
The process is simple. You adopt a duck for $25, and $22 for every duck you adopt will benefit the charity or organization you select at the time of adoption. The more duck adoptions sold by the individual charities and organizations, the more money they can raise!
The 2022 Duck Race raised over $160,000 for our organizations!
But, that’s not the end of the story! The all-volunteer Duck Race Committee has solicited financial support from Major Sponsors and Associate Sponsors. These generous sponsors help us offer fabulous Major Prizes. In addition, our local merchants provide hundreds of wonderful prizes!
Please adopt ducks and help us fundraise for our wonderful local non-profits. It’s a great community event with entertainment for the entire family, so be sure to be a part of it!
