Sponsorships are critical in allowing us to return an impressive 92% of Duck Adoption proceeds to over 60 Participating Nonprofit Organizations and Charities who provide valuable services to residents and visitors to the Estes Valley. This return is much higher than most hosted fundraising events. Thanks to our generous sponsors, in the 2023 Duck Race we were able to return over $190,000 to 65 participating organizations.
This year we have added a new Venue sponsorship category available to those donating $1,000 or more. Venue sponsors will be recognized on race day through announcements and signage at the specific venue they are sponsoring. We will also highlight venue sponsors in Duck Race promotions appearing in local newspapers and online.
We will continue to offer three other sponsor categories: Named sponsor ($5000), Major sponsor ($500 or more), and Associate sponsor ($100 or more). The annual Rotary Duck Race Festival in Estes Park is one of the oldest duck races in the United States. Over the past 35 years, the Rotary Duck Race Festival has impressively returned over $3 million to the participating organizations. We deeply appreciate the willingness of sponsors, who make it possible to help these sixty-plus non-profit and charitable organizations carry out their mission to make our town a better place to live.
