The Prize Award Process
There will be 4 “qualifying flights” of races, with 2000-3000 ducks per race. Plus – there will be a 100 ducks in a final race. Prizes are awarded as follows:
- The 25 race entries finishing first in each qualifying flight will be set aside to race again in the final.
- The next 6-7 dozen* race entries to finish will be awarded a prize from the prize pool.
- All ducks in the final will be awarded the highest value prizes (in order of descending value).
* The number of adopted ducks racing in each flight will vary, so the exact number of prizes awarded to each flight may be adjusted slightly after the 4th race, so as to ensure the probability of winning a prize is consistent across all flights.
